Bachelor of Construction Management
The training programme is practical orientated. Field work and studio based projects will form the major mode of training. Construction Management will from the beginning be understood as a tool for converting the intentions of the designer into a materialised continuum perceptible via the senses. For this reason the imparting of purely theoretical knowledge will be kept to the absolute minimum required for understanding building construction whereas structural solutions will primarily be elaborated from the practical point of view. In order to demonstrate to the students the form-creating function of the technical components during the process of design, great value will be attached to practical attitudes and a direct convection between design and construction.
