RE: RESUMPTION OF CLASSES AND EXAMS MATTERS
Kindly note the third and second year students are reporting back on 26th November, 2014. Classes should resume the same day they report. Measures have been put in place to make sure no time is wasted during registration. They will be taught up to and including 19th December, 2014.
Exams for first and fourth years will begin on 8th December, 2014. The second and third year's student will sit for their exams beginning on 5th January, 2015.
For those teaching combined classes of where the dates are out of phase will be required to set their papers twice. Please make sure standards are maintained as you set for the two groups. In this regard, I believe SCH 2412 (natural Product Chemistry) and SCH 2403 Organic Spectroscopy) will be set twice. If there is any other please set
Jan/April 2015 is leave season for the academic members. Units taught during this period will on part-time. Nevertheless, one can only proceed on leave after the departmental exams board meeting.
